The train schedule didn't work out for us well yesterday, so we ended up not going to Nurnberg. We did however get to walk around and see a decent amount of Regensburg though! There are two main churches here, the Catholic and the Protestant...both amazingly gorgeous, nothing like I've seen in the states! I'm hoping to go in and check them out on Sunday or Monday. We really just did a bunch of walking around yesterday, and me ohh-ing and ahh-ing and asking a million questions about everything! We ran in to quite a few of his friends yesterday and ended up going out to a few bars and met up with his friend Jason for his birthday. I had two AMAZING beers, one called bananenweizen the other called kirschweizen (banana and cherry). Sounds pretty terrible, but definitely not! They weren't the same as lambics, much much better! Then on the way to another bar we ate doener (a gyro!), i'm pretty sure i said at least twelve times how great it was!
The first two pics are just a couple of random pics i took around here, nothing major, then a pic of where we got the doener and or course the actual doener, then a pic of one of the bars we went into, and lastly it wouldn't be me if i didn't post a shot of myself!
